4 Easy Ways to Update Your Home in Less Than 15 Minutes

Want to keep the look you love but need a quick update? It’s easy! Here are four easy ways you can revamp your room in a flash.

There’s nothing better than being proud of your home. It’s your style and you love it! But all styles get a bit boring and out-dated after a while.

There’s no need to throw everything out, and no need to spend more than 15 minutes on your makeover. You’ll feel refreshed every time you walk in the door, we promise 😉

Switch Out Your Cushions

Maybe you’re a bit bored of your everyday cushions. They’re looking a bit flat and lifeless. You see them everyday (and sometimes you don’t really see them at all). So switch them out!

You can buy brand new cushions (because who doesn’t love a shopping spree?) or you can mix-and-match the cushions from your living room with the ones from your bedroom. Same old decor in a brand new spot!

Or take the cushions from your cosy armchair, the kids’ room or the nursery! Do a cushion-swap with your bestie or your neighbour! (OK, maybe we’re going overboard here.) Either way, change things up 😉

Buy Fresh Flowers

Walking into a room and seeing fresh flowers is the perfect pick-me-up. And so easy, too! Next time you’re at the shops or browsing online – treat yourself to a trip to the florist.

It can feel so lovely to do something beautiful just for yourself. And flowers give any room an instant update. Whether it’s the kitchen table, the living room, or your bedside. Embrace something beautiful!

Shop seasonally, or invest in artificial flowers. There are some really stunning faux plants on the market and there’s no way anyone would be able to tell the difference.

Open Your Windows

For an instantaneous update that makes your home feel fresh and summery, just open a window!

This one might seem super obvious, but it’s amazing how easy it is to lock yourself away (hello, weekend Netflix binge) or get stuck in a loop of social events where you’re hardly ever home to open the place up.

Give your house a breather! Throw back the curtains and let that natural light in. You’ll be amazed.
