About the Brand: Spaza Store
Founded by Julia Schaffer in 2013, this range comprises ethically and sustainably made products that can be used as alternatives to the plastic and disposable items that we have become so accustomed to. Spaza’s range of food covers and dry goods bags are made from sustainable sourced cotton. They are breathable, reusable and machine washable. Most importantly, they are plastic-free. The dish covers come in a range of sizes, and adjust to cover almost every size/ shape bowl one could ever need to cover. Every item is hand made by women working from their homes as part of an empowerment project to provide employment where opportunities are otherwise scarce.Their cleaning products are made from either cotton, sisal or jute and are lovingly hand-crocheted by the same women working from home. Not only are they great quality, but they are biodegradable too.
